We offer scenic mountain routes around the Makarska area as part of the rental package.
"THE SANCTUARY OF OUR LADY OF LOURDES"
A place of peace and prayer. This is an extraordinary ancient shrine located in a cave. In addition to other major anniversa-ries, the entire Christian world commemorates the 150th anniversary of the apparition of the Virgin Mary to a young woman, Bernadette Soubirous, in 1858. Each year, around 5 million pilgrims visit the Lourdes sanctuary.
"THE GREAT KASTIL"
A 16th-century fortification built into the mountain ridge. This stone fortress was constructed during the Cretan War as a shelter for the population during conflicts with the Ottoman Empire.
